Project objective was renovation of the 11th floor for NYS Museum Archives and related support functions including public relations and research.

Environmental system design criteria included precise temperature and humidity control as well as specialized air filtration to remove airborne particulates and gases that pose a threat to the preservation of the artifacts stored in the facility.

Existing air distribution consisting of cast-in-place channels in the concrete structure were coordinated for reuse in the new air handling system design.

HVAC systems included desiccant dehumidification system for energy efficient humidity control.
